Tutoring Services

All sessions are online. No long-term contracts — book as many or as few sessions as you need.

Live Session

1-on-1 Tutoring

Personalized sessions focused entirely on your student. Bring a concept that isn't clicking, an upcoming test, a problem set — whatever's on the table that week. Most students book the 55-minute slot as their regular session; the 85-minute slot is available for heavier material or intensive exam prep.

University rates are higher to reflect the increased complexity of the material.

Feedback that actually explains things.

A lot of assignment "review" services circle wrong answers and hand it back. This one explains why something is wrong and what the correct approach looks like — so students don't repeat the same mistakes.

Weekly Check-ins

Accountability Sessions

Weekly 25-minute video calls for students in self-paced programs who need external structure to stay on track. We review progress, set goals, and build a timeline that actually gets them to the finish line—before the course expires.

More than just a to-do list: These sessions are designed to stop the "parent-as-nag" cycle. We check in on their plan, but we also use the time for mini-tutoring boosts—clearing up a concept or unsticking an assignment so they can actually keep moving.

Weekly 25-min 1-on-1 series$30/session

Booked as a recurring weekly series. Stop anytime—no long-term lock-in beyond what you've scheduled.

Stay on track. Don't time out.

Self-paced sounds flexible until a student goes three weeks without opening their course. These 1-on-1 check-ins add a weekly touchpoint that keeps students moving, catches problems early, and prevents the deadline panic.

Enrollment Help

TVO-ILC Enrollment Support

The Evidence of Learning form is required before ILC will enroll a homeschooled student — and getting it wrong means starting over. You send me your curriculum and activity records from the past year or two, and I work through them and complete the documentation offline. If you have questions along the way, a 30-minute Zoom call is available as a bonus — no extra charge, just there if you need it.

If you're enrolling for the first time or have had a previous application rejected or returned, this is the session that gets it done right.

Grade 8 EOL package (all 7 subjects)$165

Send your curriculum and activity records, and I'll take it from there. A 30-minute Zoom call is available afterward if you have any questions.

Get enrolled without the guesswork.

The Evidence of Learning form trips up a lot of families. You send your records, I handle the documentation offline, and a quick Zoom call is there if you need it — so your student's enrollment isn't delayed by a form that was returned or rejected.

First time? Start with an Intake Assessment.

If you're not sure which service is the right fit, a 30-minute intake assessment ($125) is a great place to start. We figure out where the gaps are, what the student needs, and put together a plan before committing to ongoing sessions.
